Abstract:

The ratio (Φ) of 4 π times the velocity perturbations to the dipole moment of the galactic density perturbations is derived in decaying-particle universe models with nonzero cosmological constant in two cases: the first case of only massless daughter particles and the second case in which the daughter particles consist of a massless particle and a massive particle. For the various values of τd (= the decay time × the Hubble constant), the curves of constant Φ are shown in the (Ω0, λ0) diagram, and the allowable regions satisfying the observational relation Φ≃0.9 in it are examined. For a comparison the curves in the non-decay dust universe models also are shown.
