K-on Condensation and Cooling of Neutron Stars

Abstract:
K-on condensed phase is described on the basis of SU(3)L ×
SU(3)R chiral symmetry and then neutrino emmisivity inherent in this
phase is discussed. It is shown that rapid cooling of neutron stars is
still possible even if there is no pion condensate inside neutron stars.
