Superconductivity of Quark Matter at Finite Temperature

Abstract:
Superconductivity of quark matter at finite temperature is discussed
within the mean-field (BCS) approximation.
The energy gap decreases very slowly at high density due to asymptotic freedom
and at high-temperature due to thermal motion.
It is shown that the phase transition to the normal state occurs
at high density, ρ\gtrsim20 fm-3, and/or high-temperature, T \gtrsim50 MeV.
