Abstract:
According to the theory of d'Espagnat and Prentki the anomalous magnetic moments of hyperons are calculated in the lowest order perturbation approximation. It is further shown that their charge-independent interaction Hamiltonian leads to the mirror theorem for the anomalous magnetic moments of baryons (and of K mesons) without use of perturbation approximation. Finally the anomalous magnetic moments of Σ hyperons determined from the mass differences of Σ and the mirror theorem are compared with the perturbation results.

who calculated the effects of the Σ and Λ hyperons and the K meson to the anomalous magnetic moments of nucleons. Their formula for B2, however, seems to be misprinted.
- The values of B1 and B2 for nucleons are listed for the sake of comparison. The contributions from the (NNπ) interaction were early calculated by

Although the contributions from the (NΣK) and (NΛK) interactions have been calculated by Iso and Iwao (ref. 5), the present numerical value of B1(NΣK) for ps coupling does not agree with theirs.
- As to the contributions for the Σ hyperons, some of the present numerical values do not agree with those given by
