Abstract:

The existence of the heavy neutral pseudoscalar meson with isotopic spin zero (π0) is assumed and its effects on the K-meson decay are discussed. In particular the Ke+ experimental data are re-examined by assuming the Ke3+ (K+ → π0 + e+ + ν) and Ke3′+ (K+ → π0′ + e+ + ν) modes. Analysis shows that the V-A Fermi interaction can give the energy spectrum of the electron consistent with the present experiments.
