Quasi-Elastic Scattering

Abstract:
The effects of distortion due to the nuclear potential are considered in the quasi-elastic scattering. The Hart-Montroll scattering waves in a square well potential are used to take account of the distortion. Good fits with experimental data are shown for the quasi-elastic scattering of C12.
