Abstract:

It is shown that there is a possibility of explaining K+-decay by the violation of |ΔI| = ½ rule due to the existence of the p0 - ω mixture, if the doublet image is a good approximation. The effects of the collective motion of the pion cloud with the vector character (π and ω) on the |ΔI| = ½ triangle of Σ-decay and the axial-vector coupling constant of β-decay are also discussed. It is deduced that the doublet approximation with the chirality consideration is favourable to the problems of Σ - and K+-decay.
