Abstract:
Dibaryon states are investigated in the framework of the SU(3) symmetry. Probable bound states are shown to exist in triplet states of pn(deuteron), Σ+Ξ0 and Σ-Ξ-. A nucleon does not interact so strongly with a hyperon. The ratio F/D for which deuteron is most strongly bound is 2.16/3 which agrees well with its value established in the meson-baryon coupling.
