A Reformulation of the Quark Model in Terms of Gemisch

Abstract:

It is shown that if we use the concept of Gemisch, it is possible to reformulate the quark model into a more consistent form which is free from difficulties such as the fractional baryonic number or the fractional electric charge, which are inherent to the quark model in its present form.
