Abstract:

All the hadronic contributions to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon and the Lamb shift in the hydrogen atom are examined by the use of the identity, (Jµγ)all hadronsρρµφφµωωµ, proposed by Kroll, Lee, Zumino, and the upper limits for them are obtained namely Δ(1/2)(gµ-2)all hadrons<2.2×10-7 and -(Δν)all hadrons<0.014 Mc/sec (2S1/2-2P1/2).
