Abstract:

Concerning the composite model of mesons, the two-body problems of Dirac particles interacting through a potential is studied using the Dirac equation. Independently of the shape of the potential and the type of the interaction, it is concluded that the masses of the composite particles with JP=1-, 2+, 3-, … cannot be smaller than M≡(m1+m2)/2 in the case m1m2, where the m1 and m2 are the masses of the constituents. The comment for the existence of thie lower limit is also given in brief.
