Abstract:

We examine the contributions of moving branch point αc (u) in the l-plane to the backward unequal-mass scattering amplitude. It is shown that Khuri amplitudes b(u, ν) and c(u, ν) have cuts starting from ν= αc - k, Reν> - ½. The defect of Regge representation owing to unequal-mass kinematics is remedied by introducing the daughter branch point trajectories αcn (u), satisfying αcn (0) = αc0 (0) - n, of signature (-1)n. The asymptotic form of cut contributions is tαc(ln t) -ξ- 1.
