Abstract:

The angular distribution and decay density matrix of ω in the forward direction of the high-energy reaction πN →ωN are investigated in terms of ρ+ B Regge pole model. B exchange plays a significant role in order to reconcile theory with experiment. The present data can be explained without conspiracy. Factorization of ρ residues is argued by studying the density matrix element ρ1-1.
