The amplitude for the K-p →πΣ reaction in the forward direction is studied in order to examine the correspondence between the K*-exchange amplitude in the t-channel and the resonant amplitude in the s-channel. It is shown that the requirement of duality is approximately satisfied. The structure of dσ/dΩ in the forward or backward direction is predicted.
