Abstract:
The electromagnetic form factors (EMFF) are investigated by taking into account an infinite set of vector mesons which appear on the daughter trajectories. A general form of EMFF follows from the Hadamard theorem on a meromorphic function of order ρ.
The Veneziano type EMFF is a meromorphic function of order one. We show that physically acceptable orders are either ½ ≤ρ≤1 or ρ= 0. Asymptotic n-power (n: integer) behaviour is possible only if ρ= 0.
