Abstract:

A simple method is presented to obtain the two-body off-energy-shell T matrix at a positive energy. As an example of a realistic potential, the Hamada-Johnston potential in the singlet state is assumed. In the present method, the off-shell Lippman-Schwinger equation is solved under suitable boundary conditions. From its solution, an expression for the off-shell element of T matrix is derived. The off-shell behaviour of reduced T matrix is investigated on the angular-momentum states J = 0 and J = 1 at energy parameter 75 MeV.
