Abstract:

We present an analysis of experimental data to show that the inclusive spectra at X (Feynman variable) = 0 and x (log γc tan θ) = 0 follow the same power dependence of the incident energy Ep, where γc is the Lorentz factor of the c.m. system. The results are compared with the prediction of the usual scaling hypothesis and the emission model. The implications are discussed.
