Note on the Local Gauge Principle in Conformal Dual Models

Abstract:

The problem of the appearance of massless spin-one particles (“photons”) in conformal dual models is discussed from the point of view of the local gauge principle. In three representative examples of the conformal dual models, it is shown how such “photons” are interpreted as the gauge boson associated with a local gauge transformation of the master wave function.
