Abstract:

From a viewpoint of the composite model of hadrons, the electromagnetic and weak interactions of pseudoscalar mesons are investigated under the following assumption: A reaction takes place only when the urbaryons (of which hadrons are composed) concentrate on one point of the space-time where and when those primary interactions take place. Expecially we make investigation into the kaon nonleptonic decays by employing some types of the primary weak Hamiltonian of the nonleptonic decays at the urbaryon level. As possible candidates, three cases, i.e., HI = sin θcos θ G0 (\tildet2 γρ(1 - i γ5) t1)(\tildet1 γρ(1 - i γ5) t3) + h.c., HII = \tildet2 (gpc1 + gpv i γ5) t3 + h.c., and HIII = G(\tildet2 γρ(1 - i γ5) t3)(\tildeti Oρti) + h.c. are examined. In these expressions ti (i = 1,2,3) denotes the urbaryon triplet. It is shown that (1) neither HI nor HII is acceptable as the “primary” Hamiltonian; instead, (2) the case HNL = (G0/√2)(\tildet2 γρ(1 - iγ5) t3)(\tildeti γρti) + h.c. appears as a preferable choice among the cases HIII. Implications of our results are also discussed.
