Abstract:

We know in the covariant formalism that the Hamiltonian density H depends on the normal of the space-like surface in many cases. It is because of the fact that the commutator of the Hamiltonians between two space-like points contains the 2nd order derivatives of the D-function, and the reason of the occurrence of such funcions comes from that H contains the derivatives of the wave function of some field (meson field).
In this paper, we will see that it is possible to eliminate the normal dependent part from H by modifying Dyson's P-bracket.
