Abstract:

A colliding-Regge-cut representation of the dual absorption model is proposed for the non-Pomeron amplitude at high energies, in the case of logarithmically s-dependent interaction radius. It is argued that our model is free from ghost divergence and compatible with a set of assumptions; (i) dominance of peripheral partial waves at intermediate and high energies, (ii) logarithmic shrinkage of the Regge amplitude at intermediate and high energies and (iii) approximate s-independence of effective radius at intermediate energies.
