A Possible Explanation of the Difference between νW2p and νW2n

Abstract:

The deep inelastic structure functions νW2pW2n, νW2nW2p and νW2NW2NBj-limit are investigated considering a contribution from the coherent scattering in the parton model. We obtain satisfactory results for the behavior of these important quantities, especially in the case that νW2pW2n in the Bjorken limit and the number of the constituents in a nucleon is large (∼9).
