Abstract:
With the SU(3) 1-et and 8-et tensor operators within an SL(3,C) UIR of the principal degenerate series, we construct mass operators of hadrons which yield the mass differences among the SU(3) multiplets, together with each SU(3) mass breaking in the multiplets of the SL(3,C) tower. We assign the ½+, ½- and (3/2)- baryon towers to each SL(3,C) UIR with d=0, the (3/2)+ baryon tower to a UIR with d=3 and the 0++, 1-, 2++, 0-+, 1++ and 2-+ meson towers to each UIR with d=0, respectively. Obtaining the mass formulas for resonance towers and using the experimental mass values of lower resonances and EX(1640), we discuss the higher mass levels of resonances in the SU(3) 27-ets and 35-et which contain the exotic resonances.
