Abstract:

We study a possible role of parton density distributions in the description of deep inelastic lepton nucleon scattering. We consider the ideal case in which parton densities can be defined in an invariant manner under Lorentz transformations. The structure functions of inelastic lepton nucleon scattering Wi(ν, q2) in the non-deep inelastic region are then expressed in terms of their scaling limit functions Fi(x) under a certain assumption.
