On the Superfluid Phases of Liquid ³He

Abstract:

Thermodynamic and magnetic properties of superfluid ³He are investigated to give a consistent explanation for recent experiments on the superfluid 3He under the hypothesis that liquid ³He undergoes a second order phase transition to the F state pairing of superfluid at T_A = 2.65 mK and makes a first order transition to the D state pairing at T_B = 2.0 mK.
