Abstract:

On the basis of composite models, η→2γ decay is re-analyzed in the light of new data Γexp η→2γ=(0.324 ±0.046) keV by using the method of Furlan, Legovini and Paver applied to π0→2γ decay. It is shown that the fractionally charged three-quartet model is the best over other subhadronic models when combined with a ps-meson scheme proposed by Maki, Maskawa and Umemura.
