Abstract:
General prescription to give electromagnetic (and other) current vertex functions in the relativistic composite particle model of hadrons is presented by making use of the Green function or the Bethe-Salpeter equation for hadron propagation as a composite particle. The hadron electromagnetic current vertex function formulated here satisfies the conservation law if the initial and final hadron wave functions obey the Bethe-Salpeter equation. In the case of the separable Bethe-Salpeter equation permitting solutions of the factorized form like \tildeU(12)⊗O(3,1), it is shown that the electromagnetic current vertex function comes to be the Feynman-Kislinger-Ravndal current except a simple scalar factor tending to unity as the constituent mass goes to infinity.
