Abstract:

Incorporating the observed similarity between the system XM of mass M in the reaction p+pp+XM and the system Xs of mass √s in the reaction p+pXs, we construct a phenomenological scaling model which can describe the multiplicity distribution and the semi-inclusive missing mass spectra in a self-consistent way.
