On Norm Kernels of Three-Cluster Systems

— 3α and 16O+2α Problems —

Abstract:

A calculational method is presented for matrix elements of norm kernels on the harmonic oscillator basis and applied to three-cluster systems, 3α and 16O+2α. Eigenvalues and eigenstates of the norm kernels are calculated. Spectroscopic factors are evaluated for α- and 8Be-channels.
