Abstract:

Formulae for the hyperfine splitting of levels in a muonic atom are obtained in momentum space, which can be applied for the phenomenological determination of the nuclear electromagnetic form factors from the experimental data. For example, the nuclear form factors of 205Tl and 209Bi are investigated.
