Abstract:

The quartet model approach to the ψ(3105)-particle is developed. By postulating the (almost) exact validity of the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka empirical rule (OZI rule) for hadronic vertices, a consistent picture for ψ(3105) emerges rather unambiguously under a few modest assumptions on the framework of broken SU(4).
