Abstract:

Exchange coupled ferromagnetic system in the presence of uniaxial anisotropy is investigated using Callen's decoupling so as to incorporate the correlation between the transverse components of spins on different sites. Effect of such correlations on the transition temperature for simple cubic lattice (S=1) is discussed and found to be important at smaller value of D.
