Abstract:

The spherically symmetric solutions of the scalar-vector sector of the spinor-spinor Bethe-Salpeter equation for the vanishing total four-momentum in the ladder approximation are obtained when two spinors exchange a massless spin-1 particle whose propagator includes a gauge parameter α. The equation is easily solved when α= 0 and α= -3. In the general gauge, the equation is solved by means of the Hankel transformation. The solutions obtained show strong gauge dependence.
