Vectorlike SU(3) ×U(1) Gauge Model

Abstract:

An anomaly-free vectorlike SU(3) ×U(1) gauge model of weak interactions is constructed by extending a similar model previously proposed. The present model may account for the anomalous y-distribution of antineutrino reactions and the increasing ratio of antineutrino to neutrino charged events above a new threshold. Neutral currents contain both vector and axialvector parts. An intriguing prediction of this model is the existence of a long-lived neutral lepton having a mass close to that of the kaon.
