Abstract:

Lateral distribution of gamma-ray air family is studied systematically from the viewpoint of the gross behaviour of fireball production with two different natures –H-quantum and SH-quantum–. It is found that the gross feature of transverse momenta of secondary gamma rays is characterized as g(E0,pTγ) ≃g(pTγ/E0δ), with δ= 0.1 ∼0.15, for wide interaction energy ranges, E0 = 1012 ∼1016 eV.
