Unified Analysis of Inclusive Spectra of Mesons and Baryons in High Energy pp, πp and e+ e- Collisions by Quark Cascade Model

Abstract:

A new type of quark cascade model is proposed and applied to inclusive hadron spectra in fragmentation region in high energy particle collisions. Using a universal shape of coupling parameters between meson and quark, different shapes of spectra of produced mesons and baryons in high energy proton-proton, meson-proton and e+ e- collisions can be explained successfully and are compared with the experimental data.
