Abstract:

On the basis of urbaryon rearrangement model in which hadronic reactions are caused by the rearrangement of constituent urbaryons, large pT phenomena are studied. It is shown that large pT two-jet production cross sections are of the scaling form E(dσ/dp)=pT-Nf(xT, θ) and that the exponent N(xT, θ) increases up to 12 with increasing xT for BBMX. The dependence of N and f on c.m. scattering angle θ is rather weak. Furthermore, by the use of the appropriate fragmentation function of the jet, not only the scaling properties of single hadron spectrum but also the explicit form of N and f are obtained. The particle ratios for pp →πX, KX and the away side correlation are also calculated. All of the results are in good agreement with experimental data.
