Abstract:

An effective Lagrangian for a gravitational field and the Higgs scalar is constructed in a model of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio type. It is shown that a tensor field coupled to the Higgs scalar through the improved energy momentum tensor; a gravitational coupling constant increases to an effective one due to the spontaneous symmetry breakdown caused by the Higgs scalar.
