Quark-Diquark Model and Nonleptonic Decays of Hyperons and Charmed Baryons

Abstract:

We obtain a consistent explanation of both S- and P-wave amplitude of nonleptonic hyperon decays assuming the quark- (0+)diquark picture of ½+-baryons, and we also derive the interesting selection rules for charm-changing decays.
