p-p Phase Shifts and Diproton Resonances in the Mass Range from 2.1-2.8 GeV. I
— Summary of the p-p Phase-Shift Results and the 3F3 (2.22 GeV) Diproton

Abstract:
A phase shift analysis of the available p-p elastic data including the recent p-p measurements at ANL has been performed at plab = 1.1, 1.12, 1.25, 1.3, 1.38, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.9, 2.0, 2.5 and 3 GeV/c. The results indicate the existence of the diproton resonance in the 3F3 (2.22 GeV) already suggested and show that there is a possibility of at least another resonance in the 1D2 (2.17 GeV).
In this paper I, the phase-shift results are summarized. Resonance parameters of the 3F3 (2.22 GeV) diproton are evaluated to give M ≈2.22 GeV, Γ∼100-150 MeV and Γel / Γ∼0.2. Important experimental data relating to the 3F3 (2.22Ge V) state are interpreted on the basis of the phase shift solution.
