The Zero-Energy Continuum Bound State of the Saito Potential

Abstract:

It is well-known that the scattering solution for the Saito potential exhibits an extra node. This feature of the Saito potential is investigated in terms of Fredholm determinants. By considering the adjoint potential, the extra node is identified as resulting from a continuum bound state at zero energy.
