Bi-Local Field on Space-Like Surface

Abstract:

A new formulation of bi-local field theory is proposed. The field is introduced as a function of two points on the space-like hyper-surface which specifies the equal time in the canonical formalism. In contrast to the local field case, the surface itself has some physical significance.
