Nonleptonic Decays of Charmed Mesons. II

Abstract:
Nonleptonic decays of charmed mesons are discussed by making use of
the current algebra relations and amplitudes in the dual
model. Experimental data on the branching ratios of D → Kπ
and Kππ decays are found to be reproduced only if
13 \gtrsim Γ_t(D^0) / Γ_t(D^+) \gtrsim 9
Implication of this result is discussed.
