Abstract:

We propose that the horizontally symmetric pattern of the almost identical sets of SU(2) doublet and singlets results from the quantized motion along the internal axes. A strong candidate for horizontal symmetry is SU(2). A brief discussion on the SU(5)×SUf(2) model is also given.
