Monte Carlo Simulation of the Plane Rotator Model. II
— Response to an External Field and Scaling Relations

Abstract:
A Monte Carlo approach to systems with continuous symmetry is introduced and thermodynamic properties of the plane rotator model are investigated. Our previous results are confirmed again and the response to an external field is newly studied. The scaling relation between temperature-dependent exponents, α(T) and δ(T), is also discussed.
