Stabilization of the Effective Potential for QCD with a Magnetic Field

Abstract:
A possible condensation mechanism in QCD is proposed to remove an unstable mode which is produced by a homogeneous magnetic field. The ground state obtained here gives a lower energy than the one with the unstable mode. Another possible state, which has no original magnetic field but gives rise to a new unstable mode, is suggested.
