Abstract:

We first give a comparative study of spin, isospin and unitary-spin contents of multi-quark states Q3k(Q = u,d,s; k = 1,2, …, 6). Both the standard colored Fermi-quark model, and the Bose-quark model, and both a bag-like model and a string-junction-like model are considered. We then discuss possible presence of multi-quark states in nuclei and its implications for cumulative nuclear effects. Finally, we study some simplest processes which are relevant to searches for multi-quark states.
