Abstract:

We present a simple model for all scattering angles, which is based on the familiar diffrac-tion model. In this model, structures for all angles are explained in terms of a diffraction component only, which is composed of even- and odd-signature parts. For comparison with experiment, we present a fit to π+p elastic scattering at 5∼15 GeV/c.
