A Possible Mechanism of Ghost Confinement in a Renormalizable Quantum Gravity

Abstract:

The quantum theory of Einstein's gravitational theory supplemented with terms containing R2 and RµνRµν is renormalizable but the massive tensor ghost field contained in this theory causes the serious unitarity problem. We suggest a possible mechanism of the confinement of this tensor ghost.
