Abstract:
We apply the notion of the rotating equilibrium to Hu and Saslow's hydrodynamic equations and derive the relations among the phenomenological parameters. The derivation is not affected by the ambiguity of the stress tensor. Our results agree with those by Hu and Saslow. Thus their results are confirmed, although their method of derivation, which is based on the local conservation of the angular momentum, cannot be justified.
